Covid vaccines are available in Melbourne now – see how to book yours

Vaccine eligibility is increasing in Australia, with more and more groups now booking an appointment to get the jab. Currently, anyone over the age of 16 can receive a vaccine in Australia. 

Covid vaccines are FREE to everyone in Australia, and according to your age group and other criteria, it will depend on which vaccine you receive. As it stands, if you are 16-39 years old, you can receive the Pfizer jab, and if you are 18-39, you can get either the Pfizer or AstraZeneca. 

There are several ways to book your vaccination appointment, and it is super easy to do so. Check below to find out!

1. You can access the online booking portal here https://portal.cvms.vic.gov.au/ and follow the steps.

2. You can also call 1800 675 398. For an interpreter, press 0. You will be able to choose an option to speak to someone in your language.

Please note: The demand for vaccines is currently very high, so please be patient when booking an appointment.
