(Source: wikipedia.org) Generation Z is growing with the digital age, global challenges, pandemic lockdowns, and climate change. They are now entering adulthood, where they will face the realities and responsibilities of an adult life. In Ozford, we have a group of the Gen Z students who are advancing toward the adulthood.

Gen Z is the first real digital natives. It is unlike the previous generations, Gen Z prefers all the communications online rather than face-to-face. Gen Z is always looking for the sources or purchasing purely through the internet. Also, Gen Z is often seeking employers to align with their idealism, which allows them to work remotely or hybrid. It allows them to balance their personal lives and professional goals. At the workplace, they always push for corporate social responsibility and align with ethical practices.

They always seek the resources to care for their mental health. As they transition into adulthood, the mental health concern and support will be increasing at the workplace, which fulfills the personal and professional lives long term success.

Gen Z is always raising concerns over climate change, racial equality, mental health awareness, and LGBTQ+ rights through digital media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter. Simply, they can spread their ideology and plan worldwide. The Ozford students are showing their concern on the abovementioned fields via the digital media platforms as well.

Also, Gen Z is transforming the traditional concepts of family and relationship. Many of them are focusing on personal growth and financial stability. They might delay or foregoing the marriage. This generation is more open to accepting the non-traditional models of the relationship.

Conclusively, after Gen Z is entering adulthood, they will carry their own set of values and characteristics that widely influence the current society. They connect the world through the digital platforms in different ways in the workspace, accepting the new models of the relationship that will lead to the new era in coming.
