English and Culture Study Tour

Ozford arranges short-term study programs which are designed to gain an understanding of both Australian culture and the English language.The range of study and activities is tailored to the needs of each group.

The Study Tour Program Includes:

• English tuition for the whole day or half a day
• Classes held in fully equipped classrooms
• Highly qualified ESL teachers
• Class sets of textbooks are supplied
• A selection of cultural activities and excursions arranged by the College
• A farewell party and “Certificate of Achievement” at the end of the study tour
• Possible accommodation arrangement
• Personalised Study Tour program to suit individual group needs

Accommodation

• Ozford arranges either Home stay or Hostel accommodation depending on your request.
• Home stay provide full board and all meals including a packed lunch as required.

Activities & Excursions

• Take in many of Melbourne’s famous sights including the Rialto Building, South Bank and many other highlights of Melbourne on the City Tour.
• Try a wide range of Melbourne’s renowned cuisine on the Taste Tour.
• On the Shopping Tour you can shop until you drop at a huge number of Melbourne’s most fashionable stores.
• Take part in a wide range of sporting activities including golf, tennis, cricket, football, swimming, and many other sports.
• Visit Melbourne’s recognised Art Galleries and Museums.
• Have a picnic or walk in the many gardens in the city.
• Get to know the animals at Melbourne Zoo and Aquarium.
• Cruise along the Yarra River taking in the sights of Melbourne.
• Enjoy one of Melbourne’s beautiful beaches.
• Take a ride though the Dandenong Hills on an old steam train ‘Puffing Billy’.
• Experience life in Australia in the 1800s at Sovereign Hill.
• See the famous land formations ‘The Twelve Apostles’ along the Great Ocean Road.
• Get up close and personal with some of Australia’s wild life at Healesville Sanctuary and Phillip Island.

Conditions

• Students should be 12 years and above and accompanied by an adult.
• Prices are quoted on request.
• Ozford reserves the right to make last minutes alternations to itineraries of excursions due to factors and conditions beyond the control of Ozford.
• Travel insurance is highly recommended.
