OZFORD Assists Business Students Transition to Higher Education

OZFORD Institute of Higher Education wants to help VCE students with their Business-related subjects. If you need assistance with Business Management, Legal Studies, Economics or Accounting, then contact us. We seek to enable you to perform better in the VCE, clarify Business pathways, and provide Business Degree units while enrolled in VCE.

We can help you perform better at VCE with our free Revision Lectures – one for Unit 3 and one for Unit 4. These revision lectures are presented online and cover key areas of the relevant business study. They are provided by higher education lecturers and give you the opportunity to experience the approach of higher education.

This Saturday on May 28, our Unit 3 Revision Lecture Day is being presented online.

The following lectures are being presented –

  • Business Management – Managing Human Relations (at 11am-12 noon) by John Bell
  • Legal Studies – The Victorian Civil Justice System (at 1pm – 2pm) by Abeba Gebresellassie
  • Accounting – Interpreting Financial Reports (at 2.15pm – 3.15pm) by David Supangco

There is still time to register and obtain zoom details. In addition, participants will receive follow-up revision notes through our Moodle learning management system.

In addition to VCE revision support, we can provide advice and information, in consultation with your school Career Counsellor, on business career pathways in terms of study options and employment opportunities.

Further, OZFORD’s Acceleration Program provides an excellent opportunity to obtain credit for our Diploma/Bachelor of Business qualifications while currently enrolled in VCE. For example, it is not too late to gain credit for our Economic Principles unit this year. This can be undertaken over terms 2 & 3 in association with your school or independently on your own initiative. To succeed, you need an overall mark of 50% plus, obtained from a multiple-choice test on microeconomics, a case study related to a SAC of yours, and a final exam covering both macro- and micro-economics. All assessments will parallel VCE assessments and in the same style, but cover a narrower course. This is a free opportunity and leads to a savings of around $2,000 (against Fee-Help) in your first-year study in OZFORD’s Diploma/ Bachelor of Business.
